This episode felt like a 1 last time farewell of Richard and I feel like Richard will die because almost all the important characters here are dead there's just a few characters left here and I'm excited who will kill Richard

THE PLOT WAS OKAY but the animation was not so good lol

I was hoping Anne get to die by aging and a peaceful one at that after watching her son grows to be one she can be proud of :(

Dying of illnesses, even mental ones(from accidents to self harm) is quite common in royal history.
The wealthy had the best medicine and security/safety/clean isolation but there was also assassin's everywhere and due to the isolated lifestyle the immune system is weaker so catching many things was so deadly.

About a lady in waiting to Queen Catherine (the barren queen)& King Charles the lech, it's very interesting most stories are the queen or king or a Duke etc. View while this is through the view of a more bystander and wow is the MC something she is sneaky huge info broker & no one suspects her cause she's a lady in waiting.
Many things such as the poisoning of Princess Henrietta happen in it which is very detailed.
A sad spoiler(so much happens just like this so it's not much a spoiler maybe more happens than this series) is the MCs best friend or one of them, she didn't want to inherit anything she wanted to marry for love so she does & enjoys the poor life with her husband gets pregnant & has a still birth.....the MC rushes to find a baby that she knows was born nearby. Because she's told her bestie won't make it & so she wants her to die holding a live baby not knowing that hers died and she's dying too .....didn't take long less than a few minutes she comes back with the baby to put in her besties arms
And her bestie is already gone😭
No way Anne was going to survive long in that hectic environment, that's why she freaked knowing what could happen to her son & wanted him disinherited. But disinherited might not be enough people fear possibility so killing him off was probably a better choice for his safety good call by Richard

That would be lovely....but so far from history too, she died so young after her son's death in reality.

I thought Anne was going insane when she tried to run with Edward then Richard hold her hands and Anne was like going insane it's sad that she died all she ever wanted was to be love by Richard

It's sad that Anne ended up dying too, it's unfortunate her love was never returned either and I found it interesting how protective of Edward she became because she knew she wouldn't be able to do anything for him once she dies and knows how ruthless and merciless things would turn out for him if he stayed in the castle.

So Richard's mother has been traumatizing him so much because he was the product of her infidelity? That's not what I was expecting at all. But I'm sure that news didn't affect Richard much as he sees Edward as his own son even if they aren't related by blood.

Seeing Richard asking Catesby to sleep with him caught me off guard, I should have seen it coming with how desperate he was but I'm glad Catesby brought him back to his senses.

yep at that moment Catesby sealed the fact that he is my favorite character in this anime. A truly loyal man.

I like how catesby remained loyal through the end even though Richard said close your eyes and call him Richard like his lover and catesby was like no you're king Richard

As an observer, Anne has witnessed many royalties died because of one stupid crown that can shine that people believe to grant them all wishes and power. But, Anne understand that is a curse for those who can't see the darkness within that Golden Crown stained with bloods of all its former wielder.

There is no peace as a king, only suffering.
Richard did the right choice to listen to Anne and understand what she meant.
It is better that Lil' Edward not be a king than the suffering he has to experience.
Let him just live a peaceful life.

And I'm also glad that Anne was there with Richard till the very end, the briars were finally torn apart.

Richard lost a lot of love ones for this crown and now he finally lost Anne the one who stayed with Richard even though Richard is not interested
